Its web-based interface allows you to manage everything without command-line use, making it accessible for all user levels. Originally known as NAS4Free, XigmaNAS offers enterprise-grade features such as virtualization support, ZFS for data integrity, software RAID, S.M.A.R.T. monitoring, and MySQL via MariaDB​
Software Requirements:- FreeBSD: XigmaNAS is built on FreeBSD, making it suitable for deployment on UNIX-like operating systems. Hardware Requirements:- CPU: Any 64-bit processor, with multi-core processors recommended for high-demand applications. RAM: 2 GB minimum, but 8 GB or more is recommended for ZFS and heavy workloads. Storage: At least one storage device, with SSDs preferred for speed. Network: Gigabit Ethernet (or higher for faster data transfers).
