Maintaining records for every passenger is a tedious work and the data have to be sorted so that one can find other information by one information available, that is to say that by name of passenger one should be able to find where he went and from what place, their details like age, mobile number (if any). Booking can be done online or by going to bus stand or any booking place of the company or government agency. The following project is based on booking tickets at offices, not online. The person using the program will have to write passenger’s name, and other details with bus number. The program first asks for a password and will continue only after the person enters correct password. The program then asks that journey will begin from which place and then will ask to which place. Number of persons and then will show how much money is to be paid. And will continue the process if the customer pays for the same. Further the program will ask details of each passenger. And allot a seat to them, according to their choice or random. After booking tickets, the person can then cancel their booking if there is any change of plans, the program then will ask for a password and will confirm only after the person enters correct password. Details of every passenger is saved and the same is done for all the buses. If all seats are occupied, then the person cannot place a booking. Everything is done only after the person enters correct password. THE MAIN OPTIONS OF THE PROGRAM: • Place a booking • Check details • Cancel booking Apart from booking tickets, all the details can be seen by knowing just one information of given above things. For example, from a Bus number, one can see details like driver’s name, list of all passengers, conductor’s name, the place from which bus started journey and the place of destination and the price of one ticket. And one can further access details like, driver’s information, conductor’s information, information of any passenger. Also, there are type of buses available that one can select like sitting, sleeping, A.C., non A.C. etc. as per requirements. OUTPUT: 1. Book tickets. 2. See details. 3. Cancelation of ticket.
