GUI Telephone Billing System Application project in C/C++.

Introduction: Telephone billing system is graphical user interface application that helps to manage records of the customers and generate their telephone bills. Using this application the work load can be decreased and the number of employees required. This application reduces the cost of maintenance. The Telephone Billing System has the feature of managing records of the customer, that is one can add details of a new customer and if there is a need of any modification, one can do required changes on the details of the customer, and also the record of the customer can be deleted. The Telephone Billing System Application also has the feature of displaying the list of all the customers with their details and also the feature of generating the telephone bills for the customers. Existing system: The companies have to maintain bundles of registers to manage customer records. Because of this, a large number of employees are needed for just maintaining the records of the customers. Apart from this, Billing is done very gradually. They have to calculate each and every call of the customer, the type of call and the time duration and the bill amount is calculated sequentially and the billing is done. Many employees are needed to type each and every bill, all these work takes much time and also there is very less security for the confidential data of the company, as it can be manipulated easily by anyone as there is no surveillance of the server/administrator on the employee’s work. This method of managing the records of the customer and generating the telephone bills are costly. Proposed System: Telephone billing system application covers all the draw backs of the existing systems. Companies need not to maintain bundles of register to manage the customer records they can just do it in this single application. There is no need of calculating each and every call of the customer, its type and time duration sequentially, it can be done in an easy formatted manner and no need to type the bill again. All these works can be done in a short period of time. The details of the customer can be displayed, deleted or modified and also new customer’s record can be added. And also the bills can be generated easily. This type of managing the records of the customer is safe and secure as it has security password on the clients and is under the surveillance of the server. This Telephone billing system application is very cheap and requires very less number of employees for this job.
